In late September, shoppers in Japanese supermarkets, drug stores and home centers will be able to buy limited edition Kellogg’s cereal boxes featuring members of the Straw Hat Crew. Participating brands include; Cone Frosty (similar to Frosted Flakes), Coco Pops and Coco Choco Crispy. Each box a special illustration showing three different characters enjoying bowls of cereal.
A mini wanted poster with one of the following characters; Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Chopper or Law is included with each purchase. In addition to the wanted posters, consumers can download a special smart phone app that will place a randomly generated One Piece photo frame on their photos. Ten different frames are available for users to interact with. Frames will contain both a Kellogg’s logo and a One Piece logo as well as a character from the series.
