It looks like Halloween is coming early to the to the Tokyo One Piece Tower! From September 16thto October 31st the Tokyo One Piece Tower theme park will be hosting a “One Piece Halloween 2017” limited time event to celebrate the series’ 20th Anniversary. Guests are encouraged to attend the event in their favorite One Piece cosplay so they can receive a randomly distributed special Halloween sticker.
Marine Patrol – Capture the Pirates!

However, anyone attending the event cosplaying as a pirate better watch out, as there will be a special event called “Navy Patrol” capture the pirates occurring concurrently where park staff will be dressed as navy personnel going around catching unsuspecting pirates. What horrors await any unlucky pirates who end up in the brig? It’s a surprise!
One Piece Nakiri Contest 2017
What fun would dressing in Cosplay be if there wasn’t a contest? This year participants will be split into either the general category or the kids division. The general cosplay contest will take place on October 14th and 21st and the kids division will take place on October 28th. The top three contestants on each day will be awarded prizes ranging from trophies and collectibles to tickets to the theme park itself!

Halloween Photo Shoot
Fans will also get a chance to have some commemorative photos taken with a whopping three different photoshoots! Fans of the Strawhat crew will get a chance to take a picture with Zoro, Sanji, Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper everyday throughout the whole event. For those fans looking for something a bit more special, you may want to check out the newest addition to the event, a commemorative photo with Luffy and Utahime Ann (from the One Piece live attraction 3: Phantom). Don’t forget that Buggy and Puggy will also be making special appearances so be sure not to miss them!

TONGARI Workshop
For those fans that would like to do something a little more hands on the tower will also be hosting “Tongari” workshops where fans can unleash their creative side. Fans will be given a chance to color their own stickers and tattoos as well as their very own original charms. If art isn’t your strongest suit then don’t worry because there will also be plenty of merchandise on sale that you can take home with you instead.
